Getting lost in Sydney

December 10th, 2009

Darling Harbour

We got lost in Sydney when we were sightseeing on foot, but it was a pleasant inconvenience. The plan: try to find the Sydney Fish Market. We got to see a lot of other cool things along the way, like the Darling Harbour Park (photo above). Cindy will take any opportunities to catch a glimpse at her tourist map.

Getting lost is cool because we get to encounter some stuff not written in guidebooks, like this statue of Queen Victoria’s dog. It sits in front of a small fountain & if you throw some change into it, the dog actually thanks you:

The morning after, Cindy brews up a cup of tea & jots a few notes in her travel diary.

That was the ebb & the flow of our honeymooning days—wandering around all day, then turn in relatively early so we can put our feet up to relax. No complaints here!
